Cheryl began her athletic career as a high-school and college track runner. Shortly after, she spent 4 years as a Professional snowboarder for the Killington Mountain Snowboard team. Turning her sights in a different direction, Cheryl began training for Triathlons. She completed her first Iron Man in Lake Placid NY in 2001. She stayed true to the sport till the summer of 2005 when she caught a bug of different sorts. In her first season racing road bikes Cheryl’s true talent has become evident. Her love of competition and ability to suffer has put her square on the map. She quickly moved up thru the ranks and has become a true contender. Winning both the 2007 Georgia Cup learders Jersey and MAR jersey, Cheryl has her sites set on several podiums and a few great NRC results for herself and the team in 2008.
